Hey, I’m Makenzie!
I have absolutely loved working at the kennel for the past 5+ years. In 2024, I got the opportunity to become owner of A Country Kennel. It is a dream come true to work in pet care. It is such a pleasure to have formed relationships with our amazing pets and pet parents- it’s thanks to you all that we have the opportunity to do what we love <3
At home, I have two cats Timmy and Prim, and two dogs Tuck and Koda!

Hi! I’m Dani and I have a dachshund/ chihuahua mix named Bear, and a pit mix named Luci, and a kitty named Juicy J!
I have been at ACK for 3 whole years now! I love meeting all of the doggies at work, getting to watch them grow up, and building close relationships with them. Mika and Sasha are my favorite daycare babies, they make every day the best day working at the kennel.

Hey, my names Ayden. I’ve been working with dogs for just over a year now. I’ve always bonded with animals, but working at ACK has taken it to a whole new level!
I have loved getting to know all of the daycare dogs and their different personalities. My favorite thing is watching them play in the pool and just getting to hanging out.
Nathan
I’m Nathan, and this is my Squish! I grew up in a family who fostered and rescued feral dogs, and bred Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. I’ve been working in dog boarding and daycare for 4 years.
Gabe
My name is Gabe, I’ve been working with dogs for about two years now, and I love to see the excitement that our dogs hold when we enter their rooms! Each day is always exciting for me. I especially love watching the regulars and the first timers at the kennel become friends.
Working at the kennel is so much fun. Every day I get to meet new dogs and take care of them. Each dog has a different personality, getting the honor to learn about each one is something so awesome!
