What vaccinations does my pet need?
In order to attend A Country Kennel you must provide documented proof that the following vaccinations have been administered to your pet by a veterinarian:
DOGS
- Bordetella
- DAPP
- Rabies
CATS
- FVRCP
- Rabies

How do I make a reservation?
Returning Clients
Log into your Gingr Pet Portal and submit a reservation request.
New Clients
Create an account. Once your pet’s profile is set up, it will allow you to request a reservation online. For any questions or concerns, give us a call at (910) 622-6219.
Note: If your pet’s vaccinations are not updated in our system, your reservation will not be confirmed.

What if my dog is not spayed or neutered?
Dogs over 8 months old must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.
Unaltered dogs can still board with us and will receive private playtime, but cannot attend daycare.
What does the kennel provide?
We provide:
- Food & water bowls
- Blankets (no extra charge)
Optional upgrades:
- Elevated pet bed: $10/night
- Frozen Kong (Peanut Butter or Pumpkin): $5/each
- House food (Purina Chicken & Vegetable): $2/serving
We recommend bringing your pet’s own food to help keep their tummy happy.
What should I bring?
Please bring:
- A leash (required for drop-off & pick-up)
You may also bring:
- Your pet’s food (pre-measured baggies or a sealed container + scoop work best)
- Treats, toys, bedding, or a comfort item from home (like a t-shirt or bone)
- Medications, vitamins, or supplements (administered for $2/day—please notify us at drop-off)
Note: All medications must be brought in the original, prescription-labeled bottle. Please let us know at drop-off if your pet needs medication during their stay.
Can my dogs board together?
Yes! We can board up to 3 dogs from the same family in a deluxe kennel (6’ x 8’) if space and temperament allow.
We offer separate feeding in shared kennels if needed. Please let us know in advance if one or more pets are food aggressive.
Boarding fees are per dog, per night.
A 10% discount applies when boarding multiple pets.
What will my pet do all day?
All boarders get 4 potty & exercise breaks daily, each lasting 20–60 minutes.
- Social pups enjoy group time in our fenced, turf outdoor yards.
- Private pups go out solo (with love and company from our team!).
Optional: Add All Day Play to let your pup join the Daycare Crew from 8AM–4PM.
Bath services are scheduled a few hours before pickup for a fresh, clean send-off.
What are the drop-off and pick-up hours?
Monday- Friday 7:00AM-11:00AM and 2:00PM-6:00PM
Saturday-Sunday 2:00PM-5:00PM
The above hours reflect our lobby hours. Our team is of course at the kennel caring for your pup even when our lobby is closed.
If your reservation includes services (e.g. bath or nail trim), pickup is from 3:00–6:00PM Monday–Friday.
Is there a vet on site?
No, there is not a vet on site. Dr. Daniel Wilson who established A Country Kennel, practices at A Country Vet. We recommend A Country Vet for all of your pet’s medical needs.

- Walk-ins for vaccinations are accepted Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM
Do you require a deposit for holidays?
Yes. Reservations on or around holidays require a $38 deposit (one night stay).
To receive a refund, you must cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the reservation date.
